I always love a good silhouette whether slouchy or strong and clean. In this case, oh so clean and strong. This Strathberry tote has just about the cleanest lines that I automatically fell in love with at first sight (and I already want the smaller version too!). Add on the hardware and it's pretty much true love. I love the idea of this bag styled with a super put-together outfit so I paired it with skinny jeans and military style blazer - which is actually made by my mom! She's a super talented designer and nailed it on this blazer. The result is a sharp look that just is kinda my idea of a power suit - if I were to suit up.
And rather than finishing the look with pumps - that would be too predictable in my book - I went with laced up heels. They give the look some character while keeping it clean.
In other news ...
- I went to a food festival over the holiday weekend with the theme being 10 Chef & 10 Farmers. It was so delish! Can't wait to share some pics on that
- I've been so slammed at work in May that I barely had time to breath. I promise I will be a better blogger in June!
- And can you believe this year is halfway over? I'm in full denial! I feel like there's still so much I want to do and accomplish. Really hoping the year will slow down... *crosses fingers*
- I really want to add more but all I can think about is the gym right now! Off to my new year's resolution!
