With the weather in SoCal being all over the place lately - hot then cold then probably hot again - my skin has been consequently all over the place too. Luckily I discovered Dermalogica's Charcoal Rescue Masque to literally rescue my skin.
In 10 minutes, it brightened my skin and made it feel fresh again thanks to the Binchotan Charcoal  detoxifying and absorbs the well - toxins. Niacinamide also helps with the congestion in your skin and volcanic ash, sea salt and bamboo extract contribute to brightening your skin with a dual action exfoliation. Basically, it gives your skin new life. And who doesn't need that?

I also had the pleasure of trying Dermalogica's Classic European Facial at from Lee at The David Salon in Costa Mesa.  She is a wizard! Lee went through 10 different steps including a precleanse, Dermal Clay cleanser, Multivitamin Power Exfoliant, extractions, Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque, Antioxidant Hydramist (toner), Multivitamin Power Firm, Skin Smoothing Cream, Solar Defense Booster and Renewal Lip Complex.  Madness I know but my favorite part was the Multivitamin Power Exfoliant. It's like a mini peel and does wonders on dehydrated skin. The exfoliant contains a high concentration of salicylic acid and pure vitamins A, C and E.
It's packed with antioxidant vitamins, soothing skin botanicals and essential oils to revitalize the skin while improving tone and texture after just one application!

I don't think my face has ever felt so good and so clean. I'll definitely be continuing to do the Charcoal Rescue Masque a few times a week to maintain my skin along with using the Essential Cleansing Solution,  Skin Smoothing Cream and Multi-active Toner
And as recommended by Lee and Dermalogica, I'll always be doing a double cleanse from now on since one wash just doesn't clean everything.
