Black is the new black - pretty sure I said it first since I regularly preach black on black on black outfits here. I never understood why people have such a weird impression of all black outfits - no it's not gothic, no I'm not a ninja (I wish!) and no I'm not robbing a bank. Black is just sleek and easy - and while other people do colors so well (kudos if that's you..), I think I look quite ridiculous in an assortment of sherbet shades. So black it is.

And in my quest for the perfect black casual bomber jacket, I found it right under my nose in the boyfriend's closet. How convenient and easy for me to swipe to pair up with this perforated leather top. Apparently, I haven't gotten past sporty-chic yet.
