Just as we've settled into the new year, January has already escaped us. How thirty-one days fly by so quickly is beyond me - though I did lose the past week to the flu. They really meant it when they say it's bad.

If there's a common denominator in January, it's the Zara antik boots that seem to just go with everything - almost too easily. It's a quality I can appreciate though as I prefer pieces that are versatile - daytime/nighttime, dressed up/dressed down - it's really all the same to me. I never understood why people categorize clothes and shoes for when the sun is up or down. There's generally no difference in my outfits whether I am going breakfast or going to a bar or work  - and if I remember correctly, these January outfits were a mix of that. What you wear should be a representation of what you feel and this month I was feeling somewhere in-between sporty, rugged and dazzling sequins. Weird but true.
