Last week I was invited to the Gavert Atelier Salon in Beverly Hills to experience Beth Minardi’s “Minardi Luxury Color Care” line with the very talented celebrity colorist, Sherry Ratay. Unfortunately for me, you guys know I recently colored my hair so I didn’t get to have it colored by Sherry, but I did get the fortifying pre-wash therapy – which is exactly what my sad locks needed after all the torture it endured last year (body wave perm, extensions, hair coloring…)

The Minardi pre-wash is a magical ultra luxurious crème oil emulsion that deeply infuses damaged hair with moisture and nourishment. Sherry worked the crème into my dried out hair, which was followed by 20 or so minutes under the heat. The crème was wash out by probably the best hair wash I’ve ever had – I’m talking about ultimate gnarly head massage while also having my back massaged by the chair. The Minardi pre-wash left my hair incredibly soft, fluffy and smelling like a dream – or really lavender and amber. I admit, I couldn’t stop smelling and touching my hair all day. I’m a total believer in the Minardi line and now I really want to try the hair color! And I wish even more that Sherry had a salon here in Southern Cali so I could see her at anytime - at least she comes to LA once a month for appointments but damn you Florida for having her all the time.
