It's quite obvious that I love Alexander Wang. He's a genius in my eyes and not just because he creates pieces that are right up my alley, but because he really is. Since he began in 2007, Alexander has progressed and grown so much from collections with simple yet awesome separates that are perfectly styled to collections that are insanely well-thought out. From concept to crafting his own materials to the continuity - he's just gets better and better.

He's easily one of my favourites too, a total genius. It's really nice & interesting to see all of his collections in one long chunk like this, really makes you appreciate how well he has managed to stick to his vision & own aesthetic, refining it slightly each season, he really does just get better & better.

ReplyDeleteDefinitely one of those designers whose work I love irrevocably and unconditionally. Can see the evolution of his aesthetic so perfectly. An A.Wang bag is the next thing on my hitlist!
ReplyDeleteAlexander wang is someone who i think thinks far ahead of others creating high fashion in his time. From what i have been seeing, clothes he designed in 2008 are reappearing now and they are pretty fashionable. Being able to create these before others takes a lot talent and thats what he has. Talent. I like designing but i find myself having headblocks all the time. I don't know how alexander wang does it, but i hope he keeps it coming and i am definitely looking forward to his new collection. I hope or i believe it is going to be a surprise me moment and i can't wait to see it.
