t by alexander wang meshed skirt  / alexander wang emile tote and kyla sandals / yesstyle men's sweater and leopard anorak 

Quite possibly one of my favorite materials in the athletic trend is perforated, mesh-like fabrics. It's the most obvious material - referencing jerseys, basketball shorts and similar pieces - but utilized in typical pieces like sweaters, it feels extremely cool and chic. Needless to say I have been collecting perforated/mesh pieces the way I collect shoes. New on-abroad for me is this sweater from Yesstyle (men's). It was the perfect piece to style with the black version of the this T by Alexander Wang mesh skirt - another perfect, versatile piece. 

 And you may have noticed that my hair is magically longer. As much as I love the way short hair looks and I've had shorter locks back in the day, it's not for me anymore. I decided before the big Oceana charity event I attended last week that my Helmut Lang dress needed to be style with long locks. Big thanks to Suzie Ludwick for her fabulous work.
