There's some shoes that just love to haunt me until I cave in and take them home. These Giuseppe Zanotti python wedge boots did exactly that. Overlasted pointed toe wedge boots have been on my mind since I saw these and of course the Isabel Marant manly wedge boots. It's the perfect streamlined silhouette and pointed toe shape that looks so clean and so on trend right now. Plus the idea of a wide mid-shaft boot feels fresher than a staple ankle bootie or knee high number - not that I am abandoning my ankle booties by any means.
Luckily, a super sale and few discount codes made it happen.

I may not be abandoning the ankle bootie, but by the looks of my Spring 2012 shoe lineup, I am abandoning chunky styles this season. I'm feeling clean, streamlined, minimal silhouettes and styles - which were all over the Spring runways and continuing in the Fall 2012 fashion shows that are happening right now.
